Cuor di Bue translates to Heart of the Ox, this heirloom sweetheart type cabbage that produces a mid-sized, conical head with large, firm, pointed hearts and ample wrapped leaves of light green and marked veins. The Ox Heart is an early variety that produces crisp, sweet, white hearts excellent eaten fresh in salads or cooked. It can be planted 12-14 inches apart and will stand well until needed or can be picked and stored for up to 10 weeks.
