French Sorrel, Green de Belleville is a hardy perennial that produces large clumps of long leaves and tall striped flowers stems with small reddish flowers during June and July. The bright green leaves of French Sorrel have a sharp acidic flavour which is lessended on cooking. It can be used in salads, fish dishes and soups. It will grow to a height of about 60cm.
