Hungarian Black Chilli Peppers produces sturdy 60cm (24") plants loaded with 8cm (3") Jalapeno shaped fruits which ripen to red from black. The plants have purple veined green leaves and also produce purple coloured flowers. The plant produces medium heat fruits with a Scoville Heat rating of 5,000 to 10,000 units. These chillis mature around 75 days from transplanting. These are great plants for light loacations that have a temperature of 21°C, such as a conservatory or greenhouse.
