The hardiest of all broad beans, with a slightly longer pod and better winter hardiness than standard Aquadulce. This traditional white seeded variety is the best variety for planting in late autumn/winter to produce crops a whole month earlier than spring-sown varieties. It can also be sown in late winter/early spring for a summer crop. A popular choice that produces prolific numbers of pods well-filled with tender white beans.
